Nevis
Nevis is perhaps one of the most charming islands in the Caribbean. A late bloomer in terms of property investment, Nevis real estate is fairly high end so far as land and villa prices are concerned. Thankfully there is a lack of big developments that plant sprawling concrete blocks along the beach. Instead the pace and style of real estate development is in line with the gracefulness of the island and its people. Much of the tourist industry is based around the western coastline and as such the prices there are slightly steeper than in other areas of the island but some of the most charming properties are tucked away in the hillsides with wonderful views across the island to neighbouring islands of St Kitts, Ronda and Montserrat.
There is still a tangible colonial feel to the island and the locals are gracious and friendly. There are no direct international flights to Nevis, which has helped to keep Nevis less hectic than other islands. There is also no cruise port so you won’t find hoards of cruise ship passengers milling through. Nevis is an island that welcomes those looking to adopt a relaxed and graceful way of life and you will find it easy to become established if you are happy to embrace their ways.
Nevis is best for biking, hiking, history, charming plantation inn hotels, nature.

Airlines
Nevis is generally served by inter-island hopper flights from companies such as Winair, Carib Aviation and LIAT the Star of the Caribbean.
